Meet the family
At Cousineau & Sons Inc. we have 3 generations of strong, hardworking men dedicated to their practice.
Mike got his inspiration from helping his father Paul in woodworking as a young boy and grew up wanting to work with his hands. As a young adult, Mike began his career as a drywaller in the union for several years. When his sons were born Mike wanted to give them the same inspirations his father gave him so Cousineau & Sons Inc. was born. Mike started Cousineau & Sons in 2008 with the help of his significant other Beverly, his father and sometimes his young boys. They put quality first making sure the renovation was done right the first time and above all else making sure the clients were happy with the work. Mike still works hard to pass along his knowledge and experience to his sons, he hopes to one day retire and hand over his company to his sons Stephane, Robert and Nicholas.
Robert started working for his father after realizing college wasn’t for him. As a young boy, he did not particularly enjoy helping his father on the job site when he could have been playing on the computer or spending time with his friends. As he got older the bond between him and his father got stronger and Mike offered Robert the job that changed his life. Now Robert loves learning all the tips and tricks his father can give him. Robert takes the responsibilities given to him to help his father expand the company to one day make it his own with the help of his brothers.
Nicholas has been his father helper since he was old enough to walk, always assistance whenever he could. He always had something to do with his hands whether it was playing hockey, construction or helping his grandfather with woodworking. Nick fresh out of high school decided he would take courses like height and safety but instead of going to college to be a carpenter that he would learn everything from experience working for his father from the on-site to the books, since one day he knows he will be taking his father’s place along with his older brothers.
